Present Occupation: Associate Professor in the department of Human Resource Management. Experience: 23 Years teaching in both Undergraduate and Post Graduate classes. Title of the PhD Thesis: Human Resource Management in Public Sector Enterprises in Assam: A study of some Selected State Public Sector Enterprises. I obtained my PhD from Gauhati University in 1992. Research Experience: I have been continuing research since 1989 (List of Research Papers & articles enclosed). I am one of the members of the Research Committee of my institution. Moreover, as the editor of the research journal of my college, I have been encouraging a number of young scholars to do research on different themes. One of the scholars has already obtained MPhil degree under my supervision. I am also an approved Supervisor of Research leading to PhD of Dibrugarh University, Assam. Moreover, I am one of the Members of the Departmental Research Committee of Commerce Department of Dibrugarh University. On Going Research Project: I have started a Major Research Project recently as the Project Director granted by the ICSSR, New Delhi. India organized by Golaghat Commerce College on 30th & 31 January, 2006. Apart from the editing

works I was the Secretary, Seminar organizing Committee of that Seminar.

sponsored National Seminar on “Role of Securities Market in Changing the Investment Behaviour of

Golaghat Commerce College of which I have been serving as the Director since inception.

5. At present I am working as the Editor of a Research Journal named as Research Promoter. Its Second

Issue is going to be published by Golaghat Commerce College in the month of June next. I have applied

for the ISSN for the Journal.

Apart from the above I have edited a good number of Souvenirs including the Souvenir published on the

occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Golaghat Commerce College.
