Welcome to Aganeza Scrooge. First of all,a confession. A Christmas Carol is, to mymind, the ultimate Christmas story. i loveso many adaptations of it that i couldn'tresist revisiting it for the tron. i've beenasked why an all-female version. My

answer is simple: why not? Why not get thebest Scottish talent on stage and celebrate itover Christmas? it's a total delight to beworking at the tron. Stepping into theshoes of the giants that have filled themhere before is daunting but, at the same

time, feels like a challenge for us to rise to.Can we do dickens justice? Can we keep thespirit of Christmas on stage in january?

this has been a labour of love to work onfor so many reasons. to work with theincredible talented artists, actors andtechnicians has made Aganeza a joy inrehearsals. i only hope that you, theaudience, enjoy the show as much aswe've enjoyed making it for you.

Most recently,Joseph worked as the Assistant Musical Director on The Prince– The Johnny Thomson Story, at the King’s Theatre. Joseph hasrecently graduated from Strathclyde University where he gaineda BA in Applied Music.

kenny Miller - deSignerKenny Miller is a freelance director and designer who was formany years Head of Design/Associate Director of the Citizens’Theatre, Glasgow.

He recently directed and designed The Seagull, Company Policy,Romeo & Juliet and Don Giovanni for Òran Mór, and designedBorn Bad for Scottish Youth Theatre. He also directed anddesigned Harold + Maude and Days of Wine and Roses forTheatre Jezebel of which he is a founding member.

pAul Sorley - ligHting deSignerPaul trained at the Citizens’ Theatre then moved to the Tramwaywhere he currently works as chief electrician. At the Tramwayhe has worked with internationally respected companies anddirectors such as Robert Lepage and Peter Brook. His designcredits include the Citizens’ Theatre, the King’s Theatre, the TronTheatre, the Traverse, Theatre Cryptic and Postcard Records.

joHnny McknigHtTrained at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Johnny works acrossthe arts practices as a director, writer, performer and educator.His work this year includes: The Incredible Adventures of See ThruSam (writer and director for Random Accomplice); a writingcommission for Dream Plays (Traverse Theatre); two new operalibrettos – Last One Out and The Curse of The MacCabrra OperaHouse (Scottish Opera); a new BBC radio commission Beloved;directing Bye Bye Birdie (Dance School of Scotland); performingwith National Theatre of Scotland in An Appointment with theWicker Man; a staged reading of All that Promise by Colin Bell(Glasgay!). As well as working onAganeza Scrooge, Johnny alsohas a pantomime version of Cinderella at Macrobert and a newmusical version of Cinderella at Royal Lyceum this Christmas. Johnny is delighted to be at the Tron this Christmas.

dArren BroWlieDarren started his training at the Dance School of Scotlandmusical theatre course, He then went on to the Arts EducationalSchools London, completing his training at the Royal ScottishAcademy of Music and Drama.
