Invitation

Dear colleagues,

on behalf of AOCMF I would like to welcome you to the firstinternational AOCMF Principles Course in Hamburg.

Intraoperative imaging, navigation systems, prefabricatedimplants and locking systems – as examples for innovations inCMF traumatology during the last years – have advanced thesurgical treatment of mandibular and midfacial fractures, resulting in more individual and therefore also more complextreatments.

This course program offers you the opportunity of an intensiveupdate in craniomaxillofacial traumatology. Lectures, given by awell-known international faculty, small discussion groups withthe encouraged possibility to present your own cases, andpractical exercises with up-to-date implants will hopefully resultin new knowledge, skills and understanding. Because of thehigh frequency of facial trauma in every day routine you will beable to transfer these experiences immediately to your patients.

Besides the transfer of knowledge and experience AOCMF isalso a great network among surgeons. To invite you to thiscommunity and give you an idea of the spirit of AOCMF we willhave a Get together – with the participants of the parallel takingplace AOCMF Course for OR staff - on Friday evening at theRiverkasematten at the Port of Hamburg.

We look forward to see you in Hamburg in September 2012.

Yours sincerely,

Max HeilandChairman
