2. SECTION TWO PREPARATORY WORK

It is expected that you have completed the necessary research BEFOREsubmitting this application. The following studies and assessments are

required: A Needs Assessment

A literature review (a review of relevant knowledge related to theproposed program both qualitative information and statisticaldata)

A Feasibility Study

Attach a copy of the Needs Assessment report and the Feasibility Studyreport. (The reports should indicate methodology used, main factorsconsidered, findings and conclusions. Preferably NOs should consult withthe AO, PD department on study tools prior to commencing such studies,to ensure suitability of techniques and good process.)

Literature review - Please attach a list/bibliography of all articles,

publications and other documents read, as well as web sites visited (wedo not need copies of the articles/documents). Please provide a summaryof the findings and conclusion of the literature review.

3. SECTION THREE ALIGNMENT

3.1 How is the proposed program in line with the six HFH missionprinciples?

3.2 How is it in line with you country strategic plan, and how will it helpyou to achieve the goals set out in your strategic plan?(If the AO/your RD do not have a copy of your country strategic plan,then please attach that to your application. If you do not have astrategic plan, then please reference your most recent CountryAnalysis.)

4. SECTION FOUR PROGRAM FRAMEWORK

4.1 What group is being targeted? (Urban/rural, vulnerable, income

level, gender specific etc.)

4.2 What will be the main products and services offered under thisprogram?

4.3What other programs are currently being implemented in your NO,and how will this program impact, compliment and relate to those?

5. SECTION FIVE - PROGRAM ENVIRONMENTIn considering the fit between the proposed program and the national

environment, your annual Country Analysis will be examined. Please attach acopy.

5.1If the current Country Analysis does not already do so, please explainhow the national environment (present and developing conditions) inyour country causes you to want to include this particular program?
