PROGRAM GUIDE OCTOBER 2016 VOL. 46 NO. 10
Vicar of Dibly
Saturdays at 7:00 p.m., beginning October 1When their elderly vicar passes away, congregation members in Dibley are surprised to find that a woman has been assigned to their parish. Geraldine Granger (Dawn French) is outgoing, vivacious and fun-loving, but her ebullient ways do not initially endear her to the head of the Parish Council. Hilarity ensues as Geraldine tries to win over the stodgy council members while staying true to herself and her pastorate.
The Durrells in Corfu
Sundays at 8:00 p.m., beginning October 16Keeley Hawes (Upstairs Downstairs, Wives and Daughters) stars as an intrepid widow who decamps from dreary England to a sun-dappled Greek island with her four recalcitrant children. The Durrells in Corfu is a six-part adaptation of Gerald Durrell’s novel, “My Family and Other Animals” and its two sequels.
