GILLETTE program update summer 2020 Dear Friend, I hope you are staying safe and healthy! A lot has changed in recent months, so I wanted to update you on the difference you continue to make for families. Our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic has been to be there every step of the way for the women we serve at this critical time. Here in Gillette, low-income single mothers are particularly vulnerable right now. Helping to stabilize these families continues to be our top priority. Climb is an anchor in a scary world so that, long-term, they will be ready to work in the industries Wyoming’s economy needs. Working with candidates, participants, and graduates in safe, responsible ways, our advocacy currently focuses on addressing the most critical issues, including food and housing insecurity, mental health needs, and access to legal and domestic violence resources. We are also underway researching and planning the next training opportunity in Gillette. Faced with a challenging job market, we want to ensure our participants have the skills for essential jobs in our community. I’m inspired every day by the many resilient graduates we have in Gillette. We continue to be there for them during this time, and our community is in a safer, better place because these moms and their children have hope for the future... GILLETTE program update summer 2020

Dear Friend,

I hope you are staying safe and healthy!

THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE to support them along the way!

With Gratitude,

— Jenny Mashak, Gillette Program Director

Thanks to supporters like you, we continue to be there every day for Gillette’s most vulnerable single mothers and their children.
