Master axis operation

Electronic clutch output

The electronic gear function changes the speed ratio of the master and the slave axis.

The electronic clutch function is used to engage the clutch.

The electronic cam function determines and outputs the movement amount of the slave axis according to the operation of the master axis and the cam pattern.

The shared memory can be allocated to program and data

registers in three different ways. This way, it is possible to

allocate for example 64k words to the data registers when

there are large amounts of log data or 64k steps to the

program memory when there is a large number of programs.

� Noise-resistant transmission method

Conventional system (pulse train control)

Owing to noise, pulse waveforms may shift position.

Thanks to the built-in error correction function, the noise

immunity exceeds 2.5kV. This makes the FP-XH compliant

with IEC61000-4-4.

Error correction ensures real-time performance.

Simultaneous servo motor operation on all axes thanks to isochronous transmission

In real time, the FP-XH can monitor position, speed, torque, and various other items. If a problem occurs, the cause can be

determined quickly by reading out the alarm code.

For each command cycle, a

target value command is

issued, allowing optimal

interpolation and

synchronization control.

If data is lost due to noise, etc.,

the system recovers with the

next position command.

If commands for the axes are

received at different times, the

servo driver adjusts the timing

so that all axes are controlled

simultaneously (∆ = 70ns).
