Hon'ble Vice Chancellor's Message:Greetings from Shri Vishwakarma Skill University.

In line with skill India Mission, Government of Haryana announced Shri Vishwakarma Skill University

(SVSU) under Act 25 of 2016. The university is aiming at providing structured skill qualification

programmes aligned with existing and emerging job roles of the Industry.

The programmes have been mapped with National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) that facilitates

upward mobility from certificate to doctoral Level. The University is being build on 82.7 acres of land with

a state of the art infrastructure capacitised for 12,000 students per year, as a part of its master plan. The

university spells its two operating models : Incampus and Outcampus.

SVSU endeavours to build a strong partnership with industry to facilitate student employability and self-employability. The

university has designed, developed and deployed industry Integrated Dual Education Model (IIDEM) that facilitates “Earn-While-

Learn” and provides students with opportunities to enhance their qualification with flexibility of entry and exit.

The University has developed customized Certificate, Diploma and Graduation programmes that are offered through an integrated

work and study model leading to creating plug and play resources for the industry that will address the growing requirements of

skilled manpower. This model of skill building will also help in producing the motivated and engaged job ready resources.

These programmes have experiential learning which is integrated with classroom, practical, OJT and National Apprenticeship

Promotion Scheme (NAPS).

State of Art Construction Skill Academy inaugurated bythe Hon’ble Chief MinisterS h r i M a n o h a r L a l o n13 January, 2019 is fully operational at Dudhola.

Four hundred and sixty studentsare enrolled in 15 differentp r o g r a m m e s u n d e r d u a leducation industry integratedmodel.
