OVERSEAS MANAGEMENT TRAINEE PROGRAMME
The Overseas Management Trainee Programme is a collaboration between Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) which aims to provide Malaysian overseas graduates with management training opportunities in overseas parent companies which have operations in Malaysia
Foreign Manufacturing and Services Companies in Malaysia will have access to top talent
Malaysian overseas graduates will gain work experience with MNCs and get better chance of employment upon completing undergraduate studies

Ensuring a sustainable Return-on-Investment (ROI)
To provide Industrial exposure & Working Experience
Nurture Malaysian overseas scholars for the local industries
Increase Investment Value Proposition for Malaysia
What is it?
Benefits
Place scholars in relevant industries based on “place & train”
Gain industry-relevant work experience and competencies through on-job-training Enhance employability and have the opportunity to be absorbed into the company
The company will be able to learn about the performance of trainees as potential recruits and are thus in a better position to make decisions on recruitment.
Apprentice can be trained for actual position in the company and then place at the Malaysian operation Will help raise profile of company among Malaysian overseas students
