Why is RD that important to Austria?

Austria became a member state of the EU, when CAP-reform-discussion gave birth to RD – agri-environmental measures

The share of less favoured areas is very high in Austria (mountain regions!) – compensatory allowence

Austria`s tradition in supporting income combinations and the development of rural regions – objective-5b and LEADER
