Panther Activities Council

Students want FUN, administrators want to reduce discipline issues, faculty wants programming related to their classroom, and the university wants to increase retention.

Keep in mind the campus culture, facility space available, and what’s local in the community to your campus.

One size does not fit all- a successful programming board has direction, quality leadership, an atmosphere where feedback is valued and members feel supported, appropriate structure and necessary resources, and effective communication and decision making.

Consider this…

How do you know what the students on your campus are interested in? How do you determine what events to host? How do you determine how much you will spent on a program? How do you determine if a program is successful?
