Off-Site Activities

Game, up closeThe safari-park near Alsópetény offers a truly unique experience as you may observe game in their natural environment. Take a look at the spectacular behaviour of red deer and fallow deer, see the fierce clash of male moufflons and enjoy the merry march of wild-boar families. You will be taken to the clearing in the forest by a tractor and may watch the animals coming to the feeder from a hunting blind. Hunting is also possible in the park.

Following game viewing, a lovely dinner of game will be served at the Castle accompanied by wine-tasting.

When a plain excursion mushrooms into something special...A hike in the exceptionally beautiful forests of Nógrád will be a superb opportunity to learn about and take photos of a delicious yet dangerous species: mushrooms. What else but a tasty dinner of mushrooms will make the day complete.

In autumn it is peach, plums and apples that grow in abundance offering the same opportunity. Preceding dinner you get a taste of fruit-wine making and naturally, of our home-made fruit-wines, too.
