International Accreditation RecognitionWe have successfully passed the EPAS accreditation process, and are in the Pre-accreditation process for AACSB accreditation.

EPAS AccreditationPeking University HSBC Business School's Master of Economics

program was granted EPAS accreditation on Sep 15th 2011 by the

Accreditation Board of the European Foundation for Management

Development (short as EFMD) in Brussels, Belgium. We are the first

business school in China to have been granted EPAS accreditation

for economics program.

EFMD commended the teaching method and academic development

of PHBS, as well as the outstanding faculty and driven students.

Meanwhile, EFMD encouraged PHBS to continue progressing.

EFMD was founded in 1971 with the mission to esteblish international

students for management programs around the world. EFMD has

more than 650 member organizations in 70 countries, including top

business schools, consulting firms, and public organizations. EPAS,

(EFMD Program Accreditation System), is one of two international

education accreditation systems and is trusted the world over for its

continuous accountability and umcompromising quality.

PHBS was accepted as an official member of EFMD in December

2009. Supported by faculty, current students and alumni, PHBS

continually improved its teaching quality and conformed to

international academis standards, and earned EPAS accreditation

in less than two years. This acknowledgement of PHBS's rapid

structural and academic progress is an important milestone in our

school's development.

AACSB AccreditationOur school is in the Pre-accreditation process to the Association to

Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB is a non-

profit organization based in the US, which is committed to enhancing

global education opportunities in business administration and

accounting.

increase our exchange options in order to provide

similar opportunities to as many students as

possible. In addition to our official exchanges we

also encourage students to independently enroll in

summer abroad programs, and participate in school

organized summer programs. In the past we have

had students participate in summer programs at West

Point, University of California-Berkley, University of

Columbia, and the University of Oxford, among others.

Student Organizations

EDUCATION BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Experience

PHBS students always find ways of pursuing their interests

beyond the classroom. Among a total of 33 student organizations

on the entire Shenzhen graduate school campus, 11 student

organizations were established by PHBS students, including

the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Economics & Finance Association,

Securities Investment Association, and Eagle Golf Association etc.

Most of our student organizations hold it internal seminars at

least once a week. In addition, corporate executives and bank

managers are invited to give informal lectures or conduct mock

interviews. By participating regularly in these activities, students

have established close relationships with Peking University alumni

that prove advantages in gaining insight about specific industries

and networking for career opportunities.

Student organizations provide valuable opportunities for extracurricular involvement and personal development.
