Community Upgrading ActivitiesPhysical/Environmental/Economic aspects: development of area and community site plan; construction of public infrastructure: access road, water treatment, street lamp, community

Until 2009, the number of kampung members of PWSS was 5. In 2010, 2 more kampungs, Baratajaya and

Kampung Baru join the PWSS, hence a total of seven kampung members.

1. construction of low wall border to prevent river water from flooding the access road

Around 30% of the activities is finished, i.e., the low wall and the access road which is in preparation for paving. The rest is underway.

The process is slow in this community due to some problem of trust among some of the leaders.

• Gunungsari I is on a main road, many of the inhabitatants are middle class professionals, and many buildings there are business enterprises

• The construction of the access road is now pending, waiting for all the houses and buildings, which not all yet , are being reversed to face the river
