PROGRESSIVE DIE DESIGN COURSE Objective: This Course is to enable the progressive die designer to use the power of 3D. This will include: - Understanding the design environment & the works flow Unfold the sheet metal part & the parameter setting for the bend allowance Create the strip layout Create the piercing punch , bending punch , forming punch & insert Create the die set structure with the hole pocketing & hole clearance setting Produce the manufacturing drawing with the hole table & detailing Customize the product ready library (PRL), include the punch & die set structure Tooling Designer Practical hands-on with using computers, lecturing, discussions and case studies To ensure a consistent learning experience for all students, participants should have: Tooling design experience Experience with the Windows TW operation system Attended the following SolidWorks Courses, Advance Part Modelling, Advance Assembly & Sheet Metal course
