PLACEMENT PROVIDERS
Apart from academic development, the department encourages students to participate in different activities for the complete growth of students in order to face the competitive nature of the industry. The department has a Placement Cell for the last semester students of M.Sc.
(Computer Science) and MCA. The placement coordinator delegates different activities to these students and conforms that they are fulfilled in time. The students therefore gain the importance of time & they become good time managers in the near future to come.
The institution holds Best Programmer Competition, which flourishes the logical thinking and programming talent of the students.
The department also holds Poster Project Exhibition which gives a way to the imagination of students to represent concepts in a pictorial form
The institution conducts Foreign Language courses. This has become a need of the hour, as industries require students to know at least 1 foreign language. This saves the time of students since they have to learn something extra in the same campus.
The department has a Library that is run by students. The librarian must keep a record of all books just as a library does. So, this happens to be an extra responsibility to improve the management skills.
Students are given an opportunity to give Seminars on current trends in IT. This helps to boost their confidence to speak in public. Also, they get knowledge of the subject that adds to their resume.
The department also invites Guest Lecturers to keep the students in the race well ahead of others and also to give an idea of the current market situation. These are personalities from well-established companies and colleges.
The college also holds Annual Social Gathering in order to relieve them from their tight study schedule and also to encourage them to carry forward their talents and never quit.
Department had conducted One Day Lecture Series per semester for students and faculty members on ‘Current Trends in IT Industry’ by eminent speakers, Mr. Sanjay Katkar (CTO, Quick Heal Technologies), Mr. Anand Das (CTO, Pubmatic India Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Atul Kahate (Consultant Oracle Financial), Mr. Samir Kamat (Splashgain Technologies) etc.
