The local women from vanatori village were famous for their beauty. Unfortunately one of them was not so gifted by nature like her sisters, but she has a different gift, a special one

The legend says that girls who were aproaching marriage age had to prepare smoked pork for their future husband. The pork had to be smoked until the girls were chosen by one of the young men.

Due to their beauty the young men were in a hurry to find their bride and they didn’t realise that the pork it wasn’t smoked enough or if it was too smoked or the pork it was or to raw or too dry. This fact didn’t like at all to the men.

Just the ugly girl dried the pork at the proper fire with patience and love, she turned it on all sides and she sprinkle many herbs and spices.

The girl prepared tastiest and beautyful smoked pork of all and all men change their opinion and they decided to mary with that ugly girl. They realised that the beauty may dissapear but competence and patience remains.
