LONG SHOT

• Using the long shot can help to establish setting as it incorporates all of the major surroundings and does not focus on any particular aspect but more so the whole frame.

CLOSE UP

Page 5: Project 4

CLOSE UP

• Opposed to the long shot , the close up is used to draw emphasis to important parts of the frame. The close up in this image relevant to other images focuses on the bird being the central figure

MID SHOT

Page 7: Project 4

MID SHOT

• The midshot is used to establish a relationship in images. It incorporates a few important aspects of the whole frame and draws particular attention to them whilst still including some background.

USE OF FLASH

• The use of flash in an image helps to illuminate the frame.During the day using it or not using it makes minimal difference and it is only effective in the dark to make it easier to view the image under the circumstances.

LOW LUX

Page 13: Project 4

LUX

• Using lux affects the transparency of the frame or alternatively brightness in a way.It is used on some photography applications as a filter to change the way the image is seen.

NO FOCUS

Page 16: Project 4

FOCUS

• Using focus affects what aspects of the image attention id drawn toward. When an image is zoomed up or focused it blurs out the background because the photogrpaher wants us to make particular note of the subject he is cpaturing.

USE OF FILTERS (SEPIA)

Page 19: Project 4

FILTERS

• Using different filters affects the way we view an image . A black and white filter can create an ‘old school ‘ feel to the image whereby it changes the purpose of the photogrpaher. The sepia effect works similarly under an off brown scale tone .
