Project Report Guidelines for MANAGEMENT-II

B.E. III year (V Semester) for All Branch

Year: July13 --- Nov13

Details to be considered in Project Report

Students are supposed to prepare a Business Planwith regards to following

guidelines:

For the given product as a group, decide the brand name, logo of your productand design effective tagline for the same.

Decide target market for your product and identify the bases of marketsegmentation for the same.

Forecast and Measure the demand of your product for the period: 01/09/2013to 31/08/2014.

(Here, define forecasting, list out the methods and calculate demand for your

product with the help of time-series analysis- Moving average method)

For Production, how will your company select the location and what will be themanufacturing process will you adopt.

Calculate the finance required in order for that period and how will you procurefunds.

1. Decide capital structure2. Identify the sources of procurement of funds3. Identify the prevailing interest rate and type of borrowing funds

Decide if your company is in need of Manpower If manpower is needed, what Selection & Recruitment method will your company

use to get Human Resource?

(Here, identify the sources of recruitment and selection procedure)

After the completion of production, how is your product going to reach themarket. What transportation means, distribution channel and physical selection

will you choose and why?

Design the marketing strategy for your product.(Here discuss the strategy in terms of marketing concepts)

What mediums of promotion will your company adopt?(Here identify the mediums of advertisement and decide the sales promotion and

sale force)

You have to design advertisement of your product for at least 2 differentmediums.

Write down final conclusion for your Business-plan.
