Demystifying PRINCE2 and making it accessible to every corner of your organisation Navigating your project It has never been easier to find your way around your project, see what you should be doing next or leap off to deal with that urgent task that has sprung up! Using the authentic process diagrams licensed from the PRINCE2 manual simply use point and click to move through to the sub-process you need. PROJECT in a box will then show you which management products and other documentation you should be addressing as part of this process. In one place you can see if the files are being worked on or available for check out. Simply double click the file to view it at any time. All this is controlled by the user permissions model and you can follow our simple no access, read, read/write, modify (PM) system across your project or set up a custom group for your customer or another user type to give them a mix or rights to different parts of the project. Set guidance status flags or report progress against your project, also view and search old versions or run an audit trail report to find out which user has been viewing or changing what! Files can be checked out locally for changes or to work on later or directly to Outlook email to send to colleagues and partners who don’t have a system licence.

Providing flexible PRINCE2 to meet any project scope from tiny to titanic Flexible Delivery of PRINCE2 PROJECT in a box supports flexibility at two important levels:

1. Store and launch an unlimited number of standard project templates, PRINCE2, derivatives or even write your own.

2. Once a project type has been launched if you have sufficient permissions you can modify the template to match practical needs.

Project templates Work a library of these up in advance containing own process diagrams (2 levels), process and sub-process names, stage structures, documents, specialist documents and any type of blank template file you want. When launched a project from the template will work side bys side with any other project in the system, even use portfolio reports across different project types – now that is flexible! Tailoring on the fly If you have high enough permissions on a project you can change which documents and files appear in each process for each individual project once it is launched. This enables you to match a generic project template even more precisely to the needs of a particular project.

Improving understanding by using authentic PRINCE2 material The PRINCE2 challenge PRINCE2 and in particular the PRINCE2 manual are notoriously opaque and as such it can be very difficult to get users who haven’t had formal PRINCE2 training up to speed to work on projects delivered to the methodology. To make this process as easy as possible to follow we have licensed authentic content from the PRINCE2 manual to reuse in our product which means it is very familiar to users. This approach is so successful that five ATOs (Authorised PRINCE2 trainers) provide our products to their delegates to support their training and implementation on return to the office. Included in Professional Edition are the Authentic PRINCE2 process diagrams and the OGCs recommended template pack. We have further augmented some of these templates where no appropriate document was available. P2 Guidance Module We also provide P2GM as a plug in module. This provides over 25,000 words of authentic material arranged into 70 topics covering every PRINCE2 process, sub-process, technique and component. Available from a Microsoft Help file this can be key word searched and is operates context sensitively with a single key press when Professional Edition is in use.

Familiar implementation tools, no need to learn a whole new functionality set The Implementation challenge You want your new PM system to support consistent processes across your business and you want to reap the benefits of learning from previous project experiences so a system is right for you, but that means a large complex implementation and lots of user training, right? WRONG! group of projects, in aggregated and individual format

• Project – report in detail on a current project

• Document/Audit trail – all settings, changes and interactions with a specific item in the system
