Bushing mounted DB in HVDS Areas

• Old DBs are more accessible to consumer reach• Mainly raising the height of DB towards LT bushing• Effective since the new installation is near to HT bushing and deterrent for breaking

New Street light Circuits• Laying of Theft proof Armoured cables in street light circuits• Application of auto controller helps in timely controlling of lighting points

Specialized Connector Installation • Satellite Connectors are installed where Pole DBs are accessible for theft.• Pole DBs will be removed and connections are energized through specialized connectors

• Used in High Theft Pockets where Direct tapping is prominent• Direct theft is mainly through open joints at Pole DB or piercing connector• Coatings are very effective as difficult to tamper.

• Sustenance is seen in major of Division

• <10% in 61% consumer – N0

• 10-25% gain in about 10% Customers – N1

• 25-50% gain in about 9%; - N2

• 50-100% gain in 7% - N3

• In 13% cases gain were >100% over same

period last year – N4.
