Project Overview : Science Inovation vs Gender Equality, Is it fair for women ?

To deal with population explosion problem, some countries emphasize Family Planning program. Contraception use is the most common method in Family Planing program. Contraception method often used in family planning due to it’s effectiveness and efficiency. Several contraception method that exist this time like condom, hormonal injection, hormonal pills, spermicides, etc. Mostly used by women only.

In recent decades, Family Planning accomplishment in several country mostly support by women participation on the program. Men participation in family planning program caused by limited option of contraception program and strong patriachy culture in some countries.

These problems in Family Planning program make some debate upon the society. Some people think that family planning implementation is unfair for women and still treat the women as an object.

We realize that our contaraception method inovation will face the problems that mentioned above. Because our team wants to assest whether or not our GMO based product is accepted by society, we decide to discuss and analyze the issue about Gender Equality
