The property consisted of a large woodchip and sawdust processing plant in North Wales, which unfortunately was destroyed by fire. The work was carried out on behalf of the insurance company, NFU. And their Loss Adjustor. The project comprised of the complete stripping out and rebuilding of the building and plant. During the shut down there was a great loss to the business, which was covered by the insurance therefore speed of construction was essential and the programme was condensed Due to the complexity of the job and the number of different companies involved, i.e. Main Contractor, plant, machine manufacturers and installers, we were responsible for not only Contract Administration but also in acting as Project Managers and we liaised closely with the specialist contractors and machine supplier and fitters from Germany to ensure a construction to their exact specifications. This allowed us to oversee the whole operation and ensure the construction was ready for the delivery of the various items of plant and machinery. This ensured the work was completed in a timely and cost effective manner
