ARRABELLE DECK RENOVATION PRO JECT PROFILE

Project Description: The Arrabelle at Vail Square is an existing mixed use structure consisting of retail space, commercial space, privately owned residences and hotel rooms. The original Arrabelle project was completed in 2008, however since completion several issues have been found regarding the waterproofing installation resulting in removal and replacement of numerous decking assemblies. OAC’s Role: Provide a comprehensive Quality Assurance Observation program including: Daily Field Observation Reports, Monthly Progress Updates, Kick Off Meetings, Pre-Install Conferences, Flood Test Supervision, Action/Observation item coordination, and other services. OAC has been instrumental ensuring that the project is completed properly and in line with plans and specifications. VRDC has required that every person on-site go through 2-hour QAO Ready training as well as every foreman and superintendent become a Certified Quality Assurance Practitioner by completing OAC’s 2 day QAO Training Course.

SIMPSON RESIDENCE PRO JECT PROFILE

Project Type: Residential Location: New Castle, Colorado Size: 10,000 SF Cost: 900K Client: Simpson Family Completion Date: In Progress - 2012

Project Description: The Simpson Residence is a 10,000 SF home located in New Castle, Colorado. The original construction of this residence was completed in 2006; however the owners have recently encountered numerous issues regarding the building envelope, compaction and setting issues resulting in construction defect claims and litigation with the original contractor. OAC was hired as the Owners Representative to secure bids from contractors to fix these defects as well as provide Quality Assurance Observation during the construction renovation. Project Description: Trinity Church has engaged OAC as they seek to add a new structure onto their existing church building. While this project is in the early phases of pre-construction, Trinity is currently making decisions on the size and design of the structure as the project moves forward. The current building sits on ~6 acres of land, which are in the process of being combined into one PUD. The complex project has already utilized OAC’s ability to create and manage master budgets and schedules while holding the entire team accountable to them. ELWAY’S RESTAURANT PRO JECT PROFILE

Project Description: Elway’s Vail is a fully-renovated restaurant space that was previously occupied by the Wildflower restaurant in The Lodge at Vail in Vail, Colorado. The interior was completely redesigned and constructed with all new interior finishes, a new state of the art kitchen, seating for 260 guests and an outdoor patio featuring a gas fireplace. OAC’s Role: Provide a comprehensive Quality Assurance Observation program including: Weekly Field Observation Reports, Monthly Progress Updates, Kick Off Meetings, Pre-Install Conferences, Action/Observation item coordination, and other services.

Project Type: Multi-Family Residential Location: Vail, Colorado Size: 12 Buildings, 40 Units Cost: $1,300,000 Client: Vail Point Homeowners Association Completion Date: 2011

Project Description: Vail Point consists of 40 separate residences, a club house, pool and spa. A complete re-skin of all the buildings was performed due to the existing façade deteriorating with age. New stucco, garage doors and stone wainscot were installed. This project relied heavily on OAC’s ability to deliver projects in a collaborative process with multiple (40) stakeholders and an extremely multi-disciplinary team. TRAER CREEK PLAZA PRO JECT PROFILE

Project Description: Traer Creek is a 120-acre, mixed-use development. Traer Creek Plaza was designed by the late AIA award winning architect Arthur Erickson and received a Silver LEED Certification. Role: Erik Peterson served as Traer Creek’s Vice President of Construction for all of Phase I and Phase II improvements prior to starting OAC Management Incorporated in 2006. Projects managed by Mr. Peterson at Traer Creek included the full diamond interchange off of I-70, Eagle River Bridge, Rail Road underpass and all roadways and utilities that serve the current development. Additional improvements included the Wal-Mart and Home Depot, Traer Creek Plaza and tenant improvements for the existing Sports Authority, Pier 1 and Office Depot.
