• Sip.conf, Iax.conf and extensions.conf

• .call files for 30 calls in asterisk server 1

• Packet analyzer: Wireshark

EXTENDABILITY

Signaling Protocols: SIP AND IAXCodec used : G. 726 and iLBCSIP and IAX trunking is doneDialplan is configured so that two asterisk servers can communicatecall from 2 hardphones to calculate per call bandwidth.“.call” files for 10 calls will be configured to generate 10 calls

simultaneously.

Packet Analyzer: TCP dump will be used to capture packetsCaptured packets will be analyzed in Wireshark.Per call bandwidth is analyzedBandwidth for 10 calls is analyzedTheoretical bandwidth values will be calculated using online toolsPractical values obtained by experiment will be compared.

USE OF THIS PROJECT

• Understanding different options in terms of Signaling protocols used.

• Understanding the functionality of the codec used.

• This work will help to refer for capacity planning while creating a new VoIP network
