NATIONAL PARK’S & SANCTUARIES NATIONAL PARK is the

reserved land usually owned by the national government protected from human development

more than 100 national park are present in India.

Some are as..1. Corbett national park 2. Rajaji national park 3. Sundarbans national park

WILDLIFE SANCTUARYS is a naturally occurring sanctuaries that provide protection for species from hunting.

In sanctuaries animal are brought to live & protected for their rest of lives.

India has 537 wildlife sanctuaries

Project tiger is one of the well published wild life term in the world to protect tigers.

Asian countries left the tiger population on the line of extinction due to which project tiger is formulated.

It was launched by our prime minister smt. Indira Gandhi in 1973.In 1973, nine reserves were set up Assam, Bihar, Orissa, u.pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan and WORLD FEMOUS “SUNDARBAN” in west Bengal.

because to control as well as supplement the decreasing population of a Royal Bengal Tigers in the country.

The first tiger counting in 1972 show the number to been 1827 through out country.

In 1973 the government realize the tiger population has decreased at a high rate need to save them.

97 percent of the all wild tiger lost in a over 100 years
