Hi Infidelity is a cover band from the Chicago area, playing music of many genres, but mostly from the 80s Rock era. The band started out as an REO Speedwagon tribute band many years ago but, throughout the years, had to roll with the changes and diversify and have become a well rounded tribute to the bands that ruled the radio airwaves long before the dawn of music television and also to those bands who became popular because of the ground-breaking MTV in the early 80s!

Hi Fi borrows much of its set from bands like Journey, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi and Boston and, lately, have added some 80s hair bands to their repertoire, recreating the sounds and songs as you remember them with lead and background vocals with no peer in the midwest. For six consecutive years, in SuburbanNites Magazines Best of the burbs Readers Poll, the band was voted BestRockCoverBand. Front manDaveMikulskis is a five time winner as BestMaleVocalist and BobbyScumaci has been voted BestKeyboardist! Going to a Hi Infidelity show is a total concert experience from start to finish, with a wide variety of songs and fans. Not only do they cover the classics but are now playing some current hits, too. The band prides itself on recreating the songs as you know them. Dave Mikulskis: Lead Vocals - There were two things that mattered to Dave growing up as a boy in the 70s; baseball and music. Not much has changed since then as those things still make up a big part of his life. Cursed with being a Cub fan, he thought hed better pursue music, turning his angst into something positive. With musical influences including, The Beatles, Foreigner, Boston, Journey, Styx, Richard Marx, Survivor and Elton John, Dave has spent his time listening, learning and taking little bits from each one of these rock and roll legends to become the musician he is today.

With the gift of perfect pitch and the tremendous ability to mimic rocks predecessors, he also puts the ability to play piano and guitar on his resume. As far as baseball goes, nothing beats being at the old ballpark, except being up on stage.

Jim Warren: Drums/Vocals - Having played in clubs since the age of 17, Jim is no stranger to the music scene. He remembers being told by the club owners not to be anywhere near the bar and if the cops came in, he would have to hide in the kitchen.

Fortunately, he had plenty of drums to hide behind. While he may not have been seen, he was always heard. Jim continues this tradition by laying down the foundation of the band with his solid rhythms and powerful drum fills. You can also hear him lend his voice to the mega harmonies of the band, as well as singing lead on a few tunes. A member of Hi Infidelity since 1999, Jim also plays in The Core, an Eric Clapton tribute band. He plays Yamaha Maple Custom drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and uses Shure microphones.

Bobby Scumaci: Keyboards/Vocals - Born into a family of musicians and performing by the age of 10, Bobby has spent a lifetime surrounded by music. He is an accomplished musician, prolific songwriter, studio owner and producer. In other words, hes the quintessential career musician. His credits include 10 years on the road with classic rock legend and Hall of Famer, Dave Mason (Traffic), appearances with Spencer Davis, Edgar Winter, Gary Wright, Mick Fleetwood, Al Di Meola and many others. Bobby has also composed original scores for a number of video games and films and his dynamic and enduring career as an artist has been an education that only the experience itself could provide.

Bobbys laid back style, quick fingers and vocal ability have given the band a dimension that can be seen on stage during performances. Hes extremely happy to be a part of the Hi Infidelity family and promises that one day soon, hell be bringing the band over to Mama Scumacis for some pasta and braccioli, Sicilian-style.

Tyler Holcomb: Bass/Vocals - Engaging. Charismatic. Electric. Three words that best describe Tyler! This innovative solo artist and cover rock vocalist (and bassist) combines a unique blend of vocal talent, musical aptitude, and songwriting flair to create a dynamic style that is all his own. Born to perform, Tyler has been singing since age five and launched his first band at eleven. A four-time state champion swimmer, he is no stranger to the spotlight. Tylers well-rounded resume includes both solo and group performances as front man for two of Chicagos most popular cover bands. Utilizing his incomparable vocal tone and mesmerizing visual presence, Tyler effortlessly captures any audiences attention. Most recently, Tyler has teamed up with Dave Mikulskis and Ron Platt to form 3 Rock Vox, an acoustic based project with three Chicago area lead singers united to bring you rock hits in amazing three part harmony!

Guy Dominick: Guy is one of the most versatile and sought after musicians that Chicago and the Midwest has to offer. Classically trained on piano for 16 years since the age of 5, and also blessed with the gift of perfect pitch, he has taken his knowledge and abilities to teach himself guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Rocked to sleep as an infant by his father to some of the musical greats: Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix just to name a few, Dad (who also plays bass guitar/piano and has performed with his local Chicago society band, The Kingsmen for many years), takes all the credit for his sons musical talent.

Now, an accomplished musician, studio session player/producer by day, songwriter and a mere virtuoso on all guitars and piano years later, he has performed with many of the areas top acts from one time or another. And, ironically, his biggest performance credit was his 6 year tour as keyboard/guitar man for classic rock legend and Rock nd Roll Hall Of Famer, Dave Mason (Traffic) and appearances with Eddie Money, Jefferson Starship, Beach Boys, Stephen Stills, Buddy Guy and many others, like that of his Hi Infidelity brother, Bobby Scumaci.
