venue detailsStatic Gallery is a unique, mixed use arts space located at the centre of Liverpool’s creative heartland. The venue plays host to a wide variety of events, from exhibitions and instillations to live concerts..from catered symposiums to seated film screenings. Static Gallery also provides studio spaces within the building for various businesses and creatives.

The Static organisation is concerned with the processes of creative production, exchange and trade and the structures that support these things. To this end Static are often commissioned to undertake art, architecture, academic and critical writing projects whilst at the same time being the commissioning agents, producers and curators for small to large scale art, architecture, publication, symposium and music events.

Static Gallery has hosted events for artists such as Clinic, Micah P Hinson, Jim Noir, The Vaselines, The Coral, DJ Yoda, The Bees, The Wombats, Best Coast, Fionn Regan, Spectrum and many more.

Capacity300 (275 sell to capacity - 25 guest list) Static Gallery also reserves an additional guest list of 10 spaces for all events, on top of the 300 capacity.

Stage Dimensions24ft x 16ft x 2ft - The main performance space is approximately 13m x 13m.

Load InStreet level load in directly into performance space - parking for buses, splitters and cars can be reserved in advance

CurfewStatic Gallery has a strict live curfew of midnight. DJs and recorded music 2am. Bar curfew 2am.

Dressing Room / Production OfficeSecure dressing room and production office facilities, with wifi, are located backstage. Static Gallery does not have shower facilities.

A3 POSTERS- A3 Listings Posters across key City and Suburban sites (x100 p/month)

LISTINGS FLYERS- A6 Listings Flyers across key City and Suburban sites (x5k p/month)

PRESS- Monthly and event specific mails out to regional print and online press via Static databases

MAILING LISTS- Inclusion of all events in Static Gallery’s digital, monthly newsletter, which goes to mixed arts / music / culturedatabase

WEBSITE- Inclusion on all events on the new Static website (live end July 2011)

ONLINE- Promotion of events through Static Gallery’s social networks, including Facebook.

ADVERTISING- Inclusion of events on Static Gallery’s monthly listing advert in Bido Lito! Magazine

events package

Static Gallery’s events package includes the following -

- Use of Static Gallery’s in-house technical provision (PA, Lights, Projections) with an experienced in-house engineer

- Qualified SIA badged security for the duration of your event- A Static Gallery House Manager present during your event- Fully licensed, stocked and staffed bar - Inclusion on Static Gallery’s website (currently under construction), listings posters, digital newsletter and

press releases

The hire cost, including the above, is £300. This hire cost drops to £200 if Static Gallery takes more than £1000 on the bar. A deposit of £50 is required to secure any booking. These costings are based on an evening event of roughly 7 hours, with get in from 3pm. Final settlement of venue hire is required on the evening of any event.
