Abstract

Mang Inasal has a factor that would create an impact to the customers satisfaction which is the timely delivery of the product and the availability of the service. This research intends to optimize the current manpower capacity of the restaurant. This is in order to improve the customers wait time experience and increase customer satisfaction. It is directed at applying customer service expectations to the restaurants labor resource planning and allocation. The results of the simulations of the current system at the counter station and at the dining area reveal the degree of non-conformance of the wait times with respect to the customers acceptable wait times. Such results affirm that there is a significant room for service rate improvement through optimizing the workforce. The optimization involves assigning the appropriate number of to minimize the occurrences of prolonged waiting, and minimizing costs.Control costs at all times, in all areas and implement a conservative approach to growth policy. Although, we provide more than enough fund to open more than one outlet, we want to be on the safe side of the business. Like, sell the products that are of the highest quality, as well as keeping the customers happy with all of our product categories from food to store merchandising, provide 100% satisfaction to our customers and maintaining the level of excellent services among other competitors, encourage the two most important values in fast food business: brand and image, as these two ingredients are a couple of main drivers in marketing communications, get access to high-traffic shopping malls near the target market, and promote good values of company culture and business philosophy.

Introduction

The company was started by Edgar Sia II, a young enterprising architect who owned his first business at the age of twenty. He engaged in the food business at twenty six years of age, opening the first Mang Inasal branch in December 2003 at the Robinson's Mall Car park in Iloilo City. The restaurant was an instant success despite stiff competition from other more established grilled food restaurants. The branches were first opened in the Visayan region, then to neighboring Mindanao to its south, before spreading to Metro Manila. The company started franchising in 2005. By 2008, Mang Inasal had 23 restaurants opened, with ten being franchised. In October 2010, 70% of Mang Inasal was acquired by Jollibee Foods Corporations, the largest food chain company in the country, for P3 billion ($68.8 million).As of March 2014, the chain has grown to about 460 stores. Defying the usual food presentations of multinational food companies, Mang Inasal is proud to offer the Bucket Meal Feast that can afford the customers. And also this is the first time we will offer a bucket meal that will surely love by the public because we creating a a unique, innovative, entertaining menu that will differentiate us from the rest of the competition and to provide the highest quality of food, reliability and effectiveness and to create elegant and memorable experiences. We are committed to providing impeccable service and timeless settings. Our group plans to build a strong market position, considering not only to producing the best bucket meal in town but the best and unforgettable memories for everyone.

DiscussionOur proposal is all about the bucket meal that is usually offered by different kinds of food chain in the Philippines. Since Mang Inasal is not yet offering bucket meal unlike its sister company which is Jollibee, we decided to propose this product that is new to the public.Figure 1.0 Compared Price

Mang Inasal offers reasonable price thats why this product is affordable like their food that they usually offer and make costumers satisfied.

Recommendation

Our group observed that Mang Inasal is a pioneer company that provides grill chicken that satisfies customer needs and wants. Their menu is affordable and offers delicious foods and original menu of Philippines. So we decided to make improvements and add more products to the menu for the satisfaction of the customers. What we wanted is more improvements in their facilities, counter, and other services are added to their menu. We suggest more ideas for the improvement of their product. First, the main product which is the Grilled Chicken, we suggest to have a bucket meal or family size consisting of drinks and free dessert like Buko Pandan at the price of Php 399, it has a five piece of chicken--------Second, more improvements in their space area because we observed that many customers are waiting ---Third, about in the cashier there are two or three cashiers every branch so that we suggest adding more cashier to maintain the line in the order area because many customers are irritated because of the waiting session. And the saying Customer is Always Right must be implied. Although Mang Inasal provide a satisfactory service to their customer we suggest that they should be accountable to the complaints of their consumers.
