Templeton is the in-house property management company of NBP Capital. The company leases and manages multifamily units, commercial office and industrial spaces, and is known for providing best-in-class service.

Leadership Team
CHRIS KOEGELChris Koegel is the president of Templeton, the in-house property management firm for NBP
Capital. Koegel is a well-known, respected leader in the multifamily industry with over 20 years of
experience that includes managing assets on the West Coast for Trammell Crow Residential and
Security Properties. His extensive experience includes investment, development, acquisition,
disposition, renovation management and due diligence. He has consistently managed portfolios
ranging from 4,000 to 25,000 units, including stabilized, major rehabilitation, and new
construction projects for a variety of institutional clients. Skilled in training, real estate finance and
budgeting, underwriting new business, acquisitions and asset management, he is focused on
building a best-in-class management practice that includes employee education while providing
bottom-line results. Koegel is a faculty member for the National Apartment Association Education
Institute (NAAEI) and holds a CAPS designation (Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor).
MELODY LA RUEMelody La Rue is vice president of multifamily for NBP Capital’s in-house property management
company, Templeton. La Rue is a proven leader in the property management industry with more
than 20 years of experience that includes vice president positions at E&S Ring Management and,
most recently, Woodmont Real Estate Services. She has lead operations of more than 10,000
apartments throughout California, Oregon and Washington that included multifamily and
commercial property management.
La Rue has experience across all aspects of property management, to include acquisitions,
dispositions, due diligence, asset management, leadership development and operational
knowledge. La Rue is an accredited residential manager and certified property manager candidate
through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
GARRET T DENNET TGarrett Dennett is the commercial and industrial assets vice president for NBP Capital’s in-house property management company, Templeton. He currently oversees 1.8 million square feet of office, retail and industrial real estate. Dennett’s responsibilities include the execution of development and asset strategies for each property, in addition to leasing and all aspects of commercial real estate operations. Dennett’s property management career began at Elm Campus Partners in New Haven, Connecticut, where he worked hand-in-hand with University Properties managing a significant portion of Yale University’s commercial and residential real estate portfolios. Dennett graduated from The College of Wooster in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
