REPORTS To: Proposal Manager - PHS, Hosur IndiaKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare a proposal plan that meets the objectives of the proposal budget and timelineReview the inquiry documents for all requirements & detailed scope of supplyDistribute inquiry documents to others involved in the proposal and estimate preparation as requiredLiaise with sales teams and applications specialist globally in understanding clients requirements and offer custom made product to suit their needsPrimary responsibility for preparation/review of the proposal write-upsClearly define the Scope of Work and Services offered to the Customer and identify any clarifications or exceptions to the Customers inquiryMaintain knowledge of approved company vendors, estimating methods as well as project execution proceduresObtain feedback from projects for lessons learned to incorporate in future proposalsParticipate in technical and commercial clarification and close all queries raised by customerMaintain continuous communication with client and support in obtaining client feedback on tenders submittedReview technical content of Purchase OrdersAssisting in the preparation and compilation of contract documents, prior to signature, ensuring that all contract documentation is in line with all previously agreed tender negotiationsCompile order documentation and liaise with our engineering team for a seamless transition from sales to engineeringQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering / project management or process engineering. Working knowledge and experience with preparation of budgets, schedules and cost estimates. Previous exposure of handling overseas clients at a is an added advantageCOMPETENCIES:- Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment Organizational skills and time management. Effective communications skills both written and verbal for interface with Clients and co-workers. Able to work in a team environment (Engineering, Purchasing, Estimating, manufacturing, etc.). Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications. Excel skills required Exposure / Knowledge in ASPEN TASC, HTRI, HTFS will be an added advantage Awareness of ASME Sec VIII, Div I Standards
