1.0 INTRODUCTION
In place of the recently cancelled ChristmasCharity Bazaar, it is proposed that Avillion Admiral
Cove to organise a one-day Charity Carnival
consists of „Indie‟ bands concert and side fun-filled
activities in order to raise funds for the orphanagehome.
This fund will be presented to the home during a
separate Christmas Lunch party.
2.0 OBJECTIVE
2.1 To raise a fund of minimum RM5,000.00 to bedonated to the selected orphanage home.
2.2 To showcase AAC/AMLC as the most
preferred venue for tourism-based events.
2.3 To build up rapport with local population as
AAC/AMLC is deemed as a “private” Club, whichare for members only, and in return, will increase
the number of walk-ins patronising our F&B outlets.

4.1 „Indie‟ Band Concert
4.1.1 Concept
The concert will be based on „gigs‟ by
independent or „underground‟ bands and they
have huge follower and crowd throughout the
country, especially from the Klang Valley.
In popular music, independent music, often abbreviated
as indie, is a term used to describe independence from
major commercial record labels and an autonomous,
do-it-yourself approach to recording and publishing.

These groups usually consists of educated and
English-speaking music-loving members. The
definition of „Indie‟ bands are groups who are not
tied up with any particular music labels and whousually organises their performances or „gigs‟ not
for monetary reasons but just for the sake of
performing, exposure and most importantly, to
enjoy themselves.

These groups are not to be confused with Punk or
Rock bands and followers/fans of these genre of
music usually consists of university and college-
educated „yuppies‟ and are basically clean fromnarcotics abuse.
