1. Props List Pen Chair Whiteboard Laminator x2 2. Ghost Pen! The pen is a significant prop in our trailer, being used by the invisible scientist as The Ghost Pen. It is significant to our trailer because of the surrealistic way it is used, making it memorable and significant. It is a simple prop to use and easy to get, also an obvious reason to why we would use this. A pen would have a more defined streak when writing, which is the reason why we would use this other than a pencil. Electric Chair The electric shock chair is another significant prop within our trailer. Being the centre piece of the lab shots we filmed. Having the wires all over it makes it seem more disjointed and mad which is what we wanted it to look like. This would be better to use than a normal dining room chair due to how grey and simple it is, fitting in with the set we aimed for. Whereas a dining room chair would look out of sorts and too luxury for our set. Dat Ghost Pen Dough! D: #Ghostsusingpens Get this trending! So ghost like!!! Not quite real picture but imagine this with a few wires sticking out. 3. Experiment Whiteboard The whiteboard we used because it was big and significant, allowing us to write science gibberish that would show up and look clever. By using this we were able to make the diagrams the focus of the shots it was involved in, making it easy for audiences to notice and grasp an idea of what is happening. The whiteboard is also within our power to find and use which is another reason why we used this. It would have been better to use than paper as it gives us more freedom with the shots we wanted to make and allow the actors to move around. Laminators (Because they looked nice) The laminators were easy pieces of machinery to move around and get to the location we wished to film in. We wanted to use them because they fitted within the set in the laboratory shots, allowing us to use them as props when turning the machine on and off. These machines would be better to use than if we made our own cardboard ones because it looks more realistic with a solid object in the scene rather than a tacky cardboard cut-out that makes our trailer look cheap and takes away the horror like atmosphere we intend to make.
