ProPS - UV process photometer for chemical free substance analysis

The ProPS-UV is a submersible UV process photometer, which combines high precision UV transmission measurements with mathematical spectral analysing software in order to provide single substance concentrations from natural or artificial mixed samples. The system can determine simultaneously and online NO3, NO2, TOCeq, CODeq and many others parameters without chemical reagents.

The ProPS is available in two versions:

• ProPS-WW: “Waste water” version for the most applications with an adjustable optical path length of 1 to 10 mm and pressured air cleaning system

• ProPS-CW: Clear water version for application with low concentrations, for seawater applications and laboratory use. The ProPS CW has an adjustable path length of 10 to 60 mm and can be equipped with a cuvette holder for laboratory use

ProPS-Kits are cost-effective and innovative setups for the online measurement of nitrate and/or CODeq/TOCeq. The individual kits include everything required for the measurement: ProPS-UV sensor, TriBox2 controller, 10m sensor cable and 10m tube for air cleaning. All systems are delivered ready-to-measure, with an installed pre-calibration for the ordered parameters, which works in most applications. All kits offer an user add-on calibration to adjust the measurement values to the individual conditions (reference values) if required.

The ProPS is measuring a hyperspectral UV absorption spectrum to derive the individual measurement values. Additional calibration functions are offered and can easily be installed at customer’s site - without the need to purchase new hardware. This keeps your investments save with future requirements.

The ProPS can be controlled with the TriBox2 - an easy to use control and data acquisition unit with several alarm and process controlling functions - or the TriOS software MSDA_XE.
