Selection Process

1. Run Main_System_Design.m @ 130ft/s to find propeller diameter

2. Run gold.m for various P/D’s and maximize efficiency

3. Using the equation J=V/(nD), the RPM’s of the motor can be found

4. Blade pitch is calculated5. Cp is known and the power requirement can

be calculated 6. Find a motor that can satisfy the power

requirement
