After developing the first polymeric sand for paver joints in 1998, Techniseal® has continued to develop increasingly efficient formulas, including the RG+, HP2 and now the most advanced in the world: the HP NextGel™.
Techniseal® jointing sands help keep pavers looking newer, longer.An investment in pavers adds character and value to a home. However, the erosion of joint sand and the appearance of weeds and ants can quickly create an eyesore in an otherwise beautiful outdoor space.
Techniseal® jointing sands are high‑tech products that ensure the stability and durability of paver joints. Applied dry, they harden when activated with water, and retain a degree of flexibility with moisture. Unlike mortar, they resist cracking because they follow the natural movement of soil caused by moisture changes as well as freezing and thawing.
They resist erosion caused by sweeping, wind, rain, and even pressure washing. They also inhibit weed growth and resist insect infestation, leaving pavers clean at all times.

EXCEPTIONAL STAIN AND WEATHERING PROTECTION
All Techniseal® paver Protectors are both water‑ and oil‑repellent. Since they are made
with the very best resins, they form either a durable film or a chemical bond that
will prevent the penetration of water and oil. These water‑repellent and oil‑repellent
properties are not found in low‑quality sealants, which contain minimal amounts of
low‑grade resins that break‑up rapidly, allowing the penetration of contaminants that
can permanently stain pavers.

Excellent Stabilizing PropertiesAlthough jointing sand remains by far the best solution for pavers, there may be extraordinary situations where an alternative is needed. Techniseal®’s Joint Stabilizing Protectors are specially designed to bind and solidify aggregates as well as sand in a near permanent state. These stabilizing properties allow the joints to stay intact by resisting the effects of weathering and regular maintenance. In addition, they will help prevent ant and weed infestation when used on conventional sand.
PROTECTORS for WET-CAST PAVERS
The Techniseal® Wet-Cast Protector TechnologyTechniseal®’s wet-cast paver treatment line is specially engineered for wet-cast pavers and slabs. Exhaustive tests have been performed on various products from leading wet-cast paver manufacturers. These protectors are formulated to penetrate wet-cast products, giving pavers oil and water stain protection as well as making the surface easier to clean.
NEW PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
As an emerging service industry, decorative hardscape care is seeing a growing need for qualified professionals. With the collective goal of meeting the homeowners ultimate demand ‑ the enduring beauty of their gracious outdoor living areas ‑ Techniseal®, our sponsoring distributors and our trained installers and applicators are meeting that need through face‑to‑face, interactive and practical education.
This new program comprises two levels of training. The first level is a short overview educational class on joint stabilization, stain removal, surface preparation and Protector application. This class is opened to anyone who wishes to extend his or her knowledge of the hardscape treatment industry.
The second level is a one‑day class with advanced teaching, hands‑on training and a possibility of certification. Anyone interested in being part of the hardscape treatment service industry will learn the necessary skills to become a successful and profitable applicator or installer. Upon successful completion of the written exam, attendees receive a certificate of completion and are placed on the Applicator Locator section of the Techniseal® website.
