1.0 INTRODUCTION

From September 11, 2000 to October 2, 2000 preliminary prospecting activities were

completed by staff of Temex Resources Corp. (Temex) on the Monty Lake Claim Group

(Figure 1), Cassels Township, Ontario (31M/4). The claims are located in the Sudbury

Mining Division on MNDM Sheet No. G-3415. Temex of 4307 Kerry Road, Burlington,

Ontario, LVL l V8 (MNDM Client No. 303055) holds 100 07o interest in the claims. The

work was executed by Mr. Jim Laidlaw and Mr. Graham Stone, contract

Prospectors/Senior Geological Assistants under the supervision of Mr. Dan Bunner of

Temex and Mr. Rick Bonner of Interbon Mineral Exploration & Services.

A total of fourty-eight grab sample rock specimens were collected and submitted to ALS

- Chemex gold, platinum, paladium and a thirty-two multi element ICP analyses. The

location of these samples are presented on Figure l.

2.0 CLAIM GROUP

The property consists of one 16 unit claim block located located west of Monty and

Pishabo Lakes in Cassels Twp. The total area of the property is about 256 hectares. The

claim is Claim No. 1241800.

3.0 LOCATION AND ACCESS

The property is located about 5 km northeast of the town of Temagami. The property can

be accessed from the Town of Temagami by snowmachine or boat via Petraut and Monty

Lakes off of Highway 11. Alternatviely, a summer use only, hydro line access road can

be used to reach Pishabo Lake with a short canoe ride to the eastern side of the claim

block. This hydro access road connects with the Temagami Marine Road which begins at

the Ontario Northland Railway station on Highway 11 in the town of Temagami.

TEMEX RESOURCES CORP.

Page 4: PROSP PROG CASSELS TP - Ontario · producer of copper with significant platinum content. Assays of greater than 10 g/tonne ... nickel and platinum group elements to be present at

Temagami is located about 100 km north of the City of North Bay which in turn is about

450 km north of the City of Toronto.

4.0 REGIONAL GEOLOGY

The Monty Lake claims are located primarily upon an approximately l km diameter,

ovoid, metamorphosed ultramafic intrusive. The intrusion is Archean in age and is

comprised of pyroxenite, gabbro, leucogabbro and quartz diorite. The ultramafic body

intrudes into quartz biotite granite rocks and is located in close proximity to the locus of

two major fault systems that trend north/south and southeast/northwest. A prominent

gabbroic dyke is present on the north side of the intrusion suggesting that possible

fractionation of the intrusion may have occurred during emplacement.

The ovoid ultramafic intrusion is located on strike with similar rock types in nearby

Strathy Township. Those intrusions include the Kanichee Lake intrusion, a known past

producer of copper with significant platinum content. Assays of greater than 10 g/tonne

platinum were not uncommon. The Monty Lake intrusion is the only ultramafic body of

similar size within the same stratigraphic sequence.

5.0 GRAB SAMPLE ANALYTICAL RESULTS

The location of the fourty-eight grab samples collected is presented upon Figure 2. Field

descriptions of the samples collected are presented in Appendix A. The Certificates of

Analyses are provided in Appendix B.

A review of the analytical and rock sample descriptions indicates that some of the rock

specimens contained weakly anomalous concentrations of copper (up to 1,680 ppm),

platinum (90 ppb) and paladium (278 ppb). Weakly anomalous concentrations were

TEMEX RESOURCES CORP.

Page 5: PROSP PROG CASSELS TP - Ontario · producer of copper with significant platinum content. Assays of greater than 10 g/tonne ... nickel and platinum group elements to be present at

detected in hand sample materials from gabbroic rock materials containing less than l 0A

disseminated chalcopyrite with pyrrhotite. No obvious alteration style was observed with

the mineralized rock specimens. Some secondary fracturing may attribute to increased

precious metal tenors.

6.0 CONCLUSIONS

Based upon the data obtained during this work program the property is considered to have

a moderate to good potential for copper, nickel and platinum group elements to be present

at economic grades.

7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS

Further work is warranted upon this claim group. That work should consist of;

1. Completion of grab sample prospecting over areas where current sample coverage is

insufficient.

2. Consideration of completing reconnaisince Induced Polarization surveying (two lines

in both east/west and north/south directions for a total of four lines).

3. Completion of a reconnaisince gravity survey.

The primary objectives of the work program are:

* To facilitate an understanding of the current knowledge of the property;

TEMEX RESOURCES CORP.

Page 6: PROSP PROG CASSELS TP - Ontario · producer of copper with significant platinum content. Assays of greater than 10 g/tonne ... nickel and platinum group elements to be present at

To further prospecting activities aimed at evaluating the potential for platinum group

mineralization to be present; and

To use minimal geophysics to look for zones of potentially higher sulphide content

which may include higher precious metal tenor concentrations.
