Duplex seal – “Duplex seal” design consists of multiple super alloyleaf seal segments which are “pressure assisted” to achieve apositive seal between blade and frame mounted landing bars.

Both toggle drive and pivot drive options are available covering thecomplete range from the smallest 1000mm sq. opening, to thelargest 6400mm sq. Frame 9 FA Size. The design can accommodatea variety of aspect ratios, electric or hydraulic drive, circular orconical inlet and internal or external insulation configurations.

Key feature – The pivot drive bearing is a self-aligning permanentlylubricated design utilizing highly machined sintered bronzesegment.

Guillotine Damper

Guillotine Damper, includes a frame, a blade and its support. Theframe is suitable for bolting to adjacent ducting and designed towithstand all loads imposed by operating conditions. The frame isprovided with a removable cover that remains closed when theplate is in or out of the gas stream.

The blade is reinforced to minimize deflection and provided withseals all around its perimeter when high tightness degree isrequired. When the blade is placed inside the frame, it is necessaryto release the cables then, tight the screw pins regularly distributedin its perimeter. These pins are operated manually but for largesized guillotines, the locking system is automatic.

Motorized Coffee Pot damper is mainly used in “Hot Air Generator”to inject cold air whenever there is need to reduce Gas temp or itcan also be used to take fresh air in the system. These dampers areoperated with “Electrical Linear Actuator”. The damper will getopen instantly in the event of an emergency with the help ofcounter weight & electro – magnet.

The motor is connected to a drive screw through a flexiblecoupling. Rotation of the drive screw by the motor causes themating drive nut and attached drive sleeve to move axially (Linear)

When the continuation of the FORWARD and REVERSE motion ofthe drive sleeve assembly is prevented, either due to completion ofstroke or by some external obstruction, the drive screw andattached overload cam (thrust assembly) move in the oppositiondirection, against overload spring. When the pre-set overload forcehas been attained, the overload cam actuate a limit switch, therebyinterrupting power to the motor.
