[Proud 2 be an Alig]AMU Campaign fest

INTRODUCTION:

AMUSU is glad to announce that for the first time in the remarkable history

of our beloved university, a unique 2 week long UNIVERSITY WIDE

CAMPAIGN FEST is being organized from 1/03/11 to 13/03/11. Various

creative and highly spirit-lifting ONLINE and OFFLINE events will be

organized as a part of it. We all are proud to be an Alig and now the time

has come to show it to the world how right we are about it. Its time to

disprove every false allegation that has been put upon us. Its time toshowcase our glorious institution, its time to healthily market ourselves to

increase our employability in todays competitive world. And for this,

participants and delegates from many reputed universities will be invited

along with the HRs of prominent companies and people of national

importance. This is our golden chance to show our talent to the world and

reclaim our declining glory. Lets all unite and make this happen. Lets give

a glimpse of our famous soul-stirring discipline to the world. For this, all of

our brothers shall wear the traditional sherwani and our dear sisters- the

traditional shalwar-kameez, during the Grand Finale of PTBAA.

Long have we been known for our celebrated culture, valued traditions, and

above all our unique identity. For we are the students that have long been

part of a glorious past and an even more promising future. We are the

power that holds the destiny of this nation and of our whole AMU

fraternity, and its up to us how early we realize our potential and embark

on the path of infinite success. PTBAA aims to do just that so that we can

make our beloved AMU reach the zenith of success it so rightly deserves,

that WE so rightly deserve. Lets come together and show it to the world,that tomorrow belongs to AMU, tomorrow belongs to us, and we have

arrived to take what rightfully belongs to us.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES / EVENTS / COMPETITIONS

To begin with, an official PTBAA website will be created whereevery student/alumni would have to get registered to be eligible for

the online events.

The aim of online activities is to achieve a strong footprint on theinternet for the promotion of AMU so that the search-engines

churn out maximum relevant results for our universitys publicity.

Facebook Publicity: Think you are good at Fb? Got Fb sense? A fanfollowing? Prove your mettle in the virtual world of social-networkingand use it for the sake of AMU. Promote our theme I am Proud to bean Alig. This could be achieved by making groups, pages, events,statuses, profile or any other creative way you can think of. Our expertjury will keep record of all the publicity/people directly referred by youand allot scores accordingly.[Open for Alumni]

Blogging: Make blog(s) with theme Proud to be an Alig, and postarticles about history, culture, traditions, morals, achievements etc ofAMU. And increase your blog traffic by sms, emails or by any othermeans. Most popularity generating blogs will win excitingprizes.[Open for Alumni]

CAMPAIGN

Online: P2BAA website:A campaign website where each n evryproud Alig will click and register. A counter on the main page willshow that such number of people are proud to be an Alig. Eg: 23,43,692people are proud to be an Alig.

Offline: AMU Marathon:A marathon in AMU campus covering allimportant landmarks of the university with students wearing T-shirtwith the message I am Proud to be an Alig. A separate marathon willbe organized for girls in womens college campus.

INITIATIVE

We plan to launch some initiatives against the social evils like dowry

system, child labor etc and inaugurate Urdu Club. [details to bediscussed]

CONTRIBUTE

A call to the ALUMNI of AMU to contribute in the growth anddevelopment of university. [details to be discussed]

GRAND FINALEThe grand finale ceremony will be on 13th in the Kennedy Auditorium. Theprize distribution ceremony will take place on this date. Famouspersonalities, celebrities, HRs of powerful companies and our very own OldBoys who have made their mark in the world will be our guests for thisevent.
