A MINI TRAININg SESSION a High Pressure air Bag rated for, let’s just say, 40 Tons will lift a 40 Ton object less than an inch. it will lift a 35 Ton object possibly 3 inches and an object, half its capacity (20 Tons) less than half its full lifting height.

Make sure that you “supersize” your bags just a little. More specifically, purchase bags that are more substantial than you think you need. This will benefit you 3 ways: 1) a bigger bag will lift things heavier than you may typically need. 2) a bigger bag will provide more surface area under the object you are lifting as well as from the substrate that you are lifting from. This will greatly enhance stability compared to a smaller bag attempting the same lift. 3) Bigger bags provide greater lifting height.

CLASSROOM:This portion incorporates important rarely-visited elements including Newtonian Physics, Hydraulics & the concept of Empirical Deduction and how they apply to the rescue scene

New Vehicle Technology Training involving Hybrids.

PRACTICAL:The intent of the practical portion is for Trainers to be armed with understanding basic and advanced elements of auto-extrication and be able to address questions presented to them back in their respective departments when acting as a Trainer or instructor. in addition, learning how to lead and maximize every element of the Training session is emphasized, and learning how to directly measure these improvements is most important.

Understanding when to use certain tools and when not to use others in various evolutions is important.

PRACTICAL DISSERTATION:all students will be called upon to assume the role of the lead Trainer and comfortably and capably discuss a given element related to auto-extrication.

PRACTICAL TESTINg:all students will be tested on both Classroom and Practical elements learned the previous day.

FORENSIC ExTRICATION EVALUATION – A CODE 4 TRADEMARK:an evaluation teaching technique created exclusively by Chris Christie of Code 4 is one of the most powerful elements of the course. Using his Bsc., and background of writing and/or publishing over 100 articles as well as producing numerous Training DVDs related to the field of extrication, this powerful technique is one of the best Training techniques available to date.
