Prequalification Process
Prospective companies will be required to prequalify for each Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunity.
The process for becoming prequalified requires the active participation of interest companies.
All project RFP’s are Invitation to Bid Only-the completion of prequalification process does not guarantee participation in any RFP

Bechtel Supplier and Contractor Portal
All interested companies are required to register on the Bechtel Supplier and Contractor Portal- http://supplier.bechtel.com
– Dunn and Bradstreet Number– Bonding capacity, bid range– Annual sales– Area of expertise, work experience– Business size classification

You may also send a letter of introduction & company capabilities to the Project Small Business Advocate

Prequalification requirements will be listed on the description for the scope of work

• We ask for your Experience Modification Rate (EMR)• Where does this come from?
Your insurance carrier provides the EMR and this is based on your loss experience
We are looking for an EMR of 1 or less, you should be as well

National Construction Labor Agreement
The BGCAPP project is signatory to the National Construction Agreement (NCA).
Under this agreement BGCAPP has reserved the right to pre-select certain work to be performed without becoming signatory to the NCA agreement.
