Ÿ To build a workforce to be in the frontline in implementing measures and guidelines for the maintenance of adequate funds relative to and in support to the Local Chief Executive for the delivery of services to the people. OBJECTIVE To ensure that the Treasury adheres to the highest order of public value, fiscal prudence and ethics in the delivery of service to the people. FUNCTION Ÿ Takes custody of, and exercises proper management and disposition of local government funds and all such funds entrusted to the office by law and other competent authority. Ÿ Monitors and inspects private and industrial establishments in the province in relation to the implementation of tax ordinances, laws, rules and regulations. Ÿ Developments, installs, and maintains tax information system of the province. Ÿ Establishment and maintains a systematic method of tax collection.
