What do we want?
Discover different ways of controlling
emotions
Provide strategies for personal balance
Develop empathy and frustration tolerance
and impulsiveness
Promote coexistence, friendship and

Teachers begin the project:
1. Teachers learn concepts and create activities, so we experience different ways to be better with ourselves
2. Teachers recognize their skills and also other teachers skills

ACTIVITY EXAMPLE1. We invent three words and create a story with them

How do we work in the class?
The process is realized in three steps: •at the beginning•after recess • at the end
The four activities are called: "Assembly of relaxation, emotions and
values."
When children arrive to the class. They will do four activities
•disconnect from home• relax•focus

First activity: Breathing 3 -year-old students: “My doll goes up and
down”
5-year-old students: “We are balloons”
4-year- old students: “The Elevator”

Second activity: The magic word GRACIAS
GRACIAS because my mum takes me to the park
GRACIAS because Dad hugs me

Third activity: Let out what we do not want
Firstly, we tell what happened. Then, we touch the body part where we feel the discomfort saying “GRACIAS and WELLCOME”, to the body part
Later, we stand in a purple* carpet and we jump saying: GO OUT and BECOME JOY or any other good thing for us.
10* The purple color has the property to change the bad into good.
Fourth activity: We say nice words"You are a good person“
“ I love you” We hug or kiss

After the Assembly, kids tell how they feel.
We use a panel with different kind of faces.

Relaxation CornerHere children come to relax and
listen to music. They can come and choose music. Also, they can draw
how they feel in our class notebook.
Other way to use the corner, is listening to the water fountain
and drawing mandalas.

The emotions’ clock
They go freely to the corner when they feel bad.
The small hand of the clock is fixed in the phrase “How do I feel?” The bigger one is moved in to the emotion the children feel, when they arrive and when they leave the corner.

2. With it, children learn how to help other students and how to feel useful by themselves

The MandalasA Mandala is a concentric draw to be colored.
How does it work?:
1. Children are in silence.2. Each one choose the most suitable draw to their current mood.
3. Teachers ask how the child feels before start.
4. Every kind of color pencils, markers and finger paints are provided.
5. Finally, when the time runs out (15 minutes), kids are asked how they feel one more time.
6. If the mandala is not finished, it will be completed next week.

bookParents create tales. The characters are their children, skills children, values and emotions children
It’s written at home.
Children have to fill out a worksheet writing about the family actions and feelings.
