Millions of People Are in Need of Surgical Care in
AfricaThere is a critical need for trained and skilled surgeons in Africa. There are an estimated 56,000,000 people in Sub-Saharan Africa in need of surgery TODAY. This is double the number of those infected with AIDS. In many places, there is only one surgeon for 250,000 people. In other places the need is ten times worse. Basic surgical care is not available in most parts of Africa. People are dying for want of simple surgical procedures.

Be a Part of the Solution in Africa
Donate to PAACSEnsure that African men, women and children needing surgical care can access trained and qualified surgeons. Few African doctors can afford the cost of surgical training. PAACS needs your help to make sure that every qualified African doctor who wants to serve Jesus Christ through surgery receives the proper training.
• Help cover the cost of surgical training for an African resident; an entire year of support averages $25,000.
The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) was created to train African surgeons to care for Africa’s sick and suffering. PAACS disciples African surgeons to glorify God by offering care to the physical body and providing spiritual hope in the name of Jesus Christ.
