PTA Mission Statement: “To wholeheartedly support our Pastor, Administration, and School’s Faculty in the education and spiritual development of our children.”

Working directly with the Advancement Office, the PTA supports the school through volunteerism, fundraising and events that strengthen our Catholic community. PTA fundraisers financially support the school, provide educational resources, provide fun activities for our children and support community-building activities.

St. Mary School PTA ~ Nominating Ballot

¸ Nominate yourself or someone you think would be a good PTA Officer.¸ All nominees will meet with Nominating Committee to discuss details and acceptance of nomination.¸ Elections will be held June 9thth.¸ PTA officer terms are two years. Officers cannot succeed themselves in the same office.¸ PTA Board positions are elected on alternating years to promote consistency.¸ Attendance at monthly PTA Board meetings required. (Two absences permitted.)

Please return nomination ballot by: Wednesday, May 28th.

The Current PTA Board for 2013-2014 includes: President: Mary Haddock, VP of Fundraising: Brooke Mello, VP of Programming: Megan Harris,VP Publicity: Christen Morales; Treasurer (Appointed by Principal): Kristaann Corona, Recording Secretary: Tricia Dortu, Corresponding Secretary: Gina Zikowski

Elections for the 2014/2015 PTA Board Positions Include:

VP Fundraising: Coordinates and manages all PTA fundraisers; works with Fundraising Chairpersons and committees; runs PTA Board Meetings in the absence of the President.

VP Programming: Coordinates and manages all PTA Programs; works with Programming Chairpersons and committees; Runs PTA Board meetings in the absence of the President and VP Fundraising.

Corresponding Secretary: Develops marketing materials, flyers, etc. to communicate events and programs; writes thank you notes; updates PTA news to community; assists President with correspondence.

Treasurer: Position is appointed by the Principal; responsible to maintain checking account; complete profit and loss statements for each event; balance accounts; accounting/bookkeeping experience important;
