The advantages of an adjusted Tyre Pressure• Reduced fuel consumption of the towing tractor in the field and on the road (10 % – 15 %)

• Example: 5 cm depth of track = + 10 % diesel consumption

• Reduced rolling resistance in the field and on the road

• Higher ride stability on the road at higher speeds

• Reduction of track depth caused through bigger footprint of the tyre

• Strong increase of towing force due to better interlocking of the tyre profile with the ground

• None/reduced soil compaction

• Self cleaning effect of the profile through flexing tyres

• No tyre damages/less tyre wear

This does not effect tractors only, but also trailers and trailed im-plements. The necessary towing force of the trailer is reduced by reducing the track depth (Bulldozing-Effect).

Furthermore CTIS is a competitive advantage for a contractor. Farm-ers as their customers often demand low tyre pressures on their fields. Also the usage time in the season can be extended, because an op-eration under difficult soil conditions could be still possible with re-duced tyre pressure.

RDS/GW dual-line Tyre Inflation System for slurry tankers & trailers with

digital- or ISOBUS-controlmove. The ducts to the wheels lead through the drilled axles. The sys-tem is suitable for all slurry tankers and other trailers with appropri-ately prepared axles. The RDS 2L cannot be retrofitted without drill-ing the axles.

For this case we offer our System „AIRBOX/drive dual-line“! The compact dual line rotary unions featuring long-life grease filling (no greasing needed), high-quality seals and bearings are screwed into the axle hub.

The system is connected to the pneumatic brake system with a safety valve, so 6.5 bar pressure for the brake system is always guaranteed.

Trailers with large-volume tyres usually require separate air supply sys-tems. PTG offers a variety of air supply systems that switch on and off automatically as and when required.

The RDS single-line technology Tyre Inflation System is a profession-al system for reliable and convenient tyre pressure adjustment on the move. The ducts to the wheels lead through the drilled axles. The system is suitable for all slurry tankers and other trailers with facto-ry predrilled axles. The RDS 1L cannot be retrofitted without drilling the axles.For this case we offer our System „AIRBOX/drive single-line“!

Pneumatic control for single-line Systems

Pneumatic control: The driver sets the required air pressure for both road and field once on the control panel with gauges outside the vehicle, which are then stored.

Using the control panel in the cabin, the driver simply selects the required mode (road or field); the control unit adjusts the pressure in all tyres to the preset values and switches off automatically. The system can also be switched off manually at any time.

Since the system is permanently connected to the tyres, the actual pressure gauge always indicates the current tyre pressure.

Digital control (RDS/control) for dual-line Systems

The electronic box is a universal control unit that enables the user to operate the tyre infla-tion systems of tractor and trailer at the same time. It also gives the option to access preset air pressure data by the press of a button.

Once activated, the system adjusts the tyre pressure in the selected tyres before switching off automatically.

The system can also be deactivated at any time by the press of a button.

ISOBUS-control for dual-line Systems

The operation of the tyre inflation systems uses the ISOBUS-terminal of the vehicle or the tractor, as the PTG-System is connected internally with the ISOBUS System.

Preset tyre pressures are set after opening the PTG page on the ISOBUS-terminal or via a connected Joystick.

Air Supply System S2000 (2,000 l/min) and S4000 (4,000 l/min)The hydraulically driven screw compressors S2000 and S4000 are designed for use with two and three axle trailers. With a reliable piston motor and active cooling of the compressor lubricant, the unit is highly robust and efficient.

Air Supply System V2000 (2,000 l/min) and V4000 (4,000 l/min)The hydraulically driven vane compressors are the best choice for the agricultural use because of their robust compression principle.The main advantages of this compressor type are more compact design, extremly silent operation and a design for continously operation.
