• 1958 Council of Ministers of the USSR State Planning Commission
orders the "Ukrgiproshaht" Institute to be involved in carrying out design,
survey and research works at oil and gas industry enterprises - the
official date of founding of the institute.
• 1992 Reorganization of the SPA "MASMA" and creation of the separate
design institute "Ukrgiproneftehim" with direct subordination to State
Ministry of Chemical Industry of Ukraine.
• 1994 Corporatization. State Commitee for Oil and Gas order established
OJSC "Ukrnaftokhimproect", which became the legal successor of the
Institute "Ukrgiproneftehim".
• 2011 Open Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Institute for design of refining
and petrochemical plants "Ukrnaftokhimproect" (OJSC
