MEDIA INFORMATION

MEDIA INFORMATIONThe Chicago Bulls are entering their 45th season in the NBA and 17th year at the United Center. This season, the Bulls will becelebrating the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s first NBA Championship. The Chicago Bulls appreciate the continued cover-age and support from the media, and we look forward to assisting you again this season. In an effort to provide a professionalworking environment, the Bulls have established the following guidelines for the 2010-2011 season:

Credentials

We will honor all reasonable requests for credentials from recognized newspapers, magazines, radio and television outlets.The only season passes that will be honored at the United Center are Bulls season credentials and NBA season credentials.Each of those credentials will admit the bearer to the United Center, the upstairs press box, press row, the press work roomand both locker rooms. However, IN ORDER TO RESERVE SEATING, MEDIA MEMBERS HOLDING SEASON PASSES SHOULDNOTIFY THE BULLS PR DEPARTMENT IF THEY ARE PLANNING TO COVER A GAME. Individual single-game press and photocredentials can be secured for accredited media members by calling the Bulls Public and Media Relations Department no laterthan 5:00 p.m. the day before a game (by 5:00 p.m. Friday for a weekend or Monday game). Single-game passes can be pickedup at Gate 3 1/2 on the northeast corner of the United Center.

Credentials must be visibly worn in the United Center to assure proper access to designated areas. In all cases, season andsingle-game passes are non-transferrable. Any unauthorized use will subject the bearer to ejection from the United Centerand the forfeiture of the credential.

Press Work Room

The press work room is located on the service level in the northwest corner of the United Center. Working media with validcredentials will be allowed into the press work room. The work area is equipped with photography rooms, electrical outlets,phones and wireless Internet service.

Services

A pre-game meal will be available in the press work room at a charge of $6.00. Prior to the game, the media will be provided withgame notes and other game-related information. All statistical services including play-by-play, quarter statistics, halftime andfinal box score, as well as post-game quotes will be distributed to all press seat locations. Fax service is also provided before, dur-ing and after the game.

Locker Room

In accordance with NBA policy, the Bulls’ and visitors’ locker rooms will be open to the media up to 45 minutes before thegame and 10 minutes after the end of the game. Only working media with a valid credential will be admitted into the lockerrooms. Still photography is not allowed in the locker rooms at any time. Media members are also prohibited from using cellphones inside the locker room. The Bulls’ locker room is located on the north end of the service level, while the visitor’s lock-er room is located adjacent to the press work room.

Photographers

A single-game credential will be issued to accredited photographers from large-circulation Chicagoland daily newspapers.Photographers from other newspapers or magazines wishing to work specific games must request single-game passes.Freelance photographers needing credentials must submit a letter indicating a specific assignment from a publication.

Post-game TV and Radio Interviews

Please be sure to list THREE choices for radio and television post-game interview requests. This will ensure an interviewee incase their first choice and second choices are unavailable.

Autographs/Personal Cameras

No autographs of players or coaches are allowed. The use of personal cameras and camera phones is prohibited.

Chuck Swirsky brings more than 20 years of broadcasting experience to the Chicago Bulls as hebegins his third season as play-by-play announcer for all Bulls games broadcast on ESPN Radio 1000(WMVP-AM) … in addition to his play-by-play duties, Chuck is the pre- and post-game reporter forBulls TV for all home games … Swirsky also contributes regularly to Bulls.com … Chuck can also befound on Twitter communicating with Bulls fans, including in-game “Tweets”… Swirsky joined theBulls from the Toronto Raptors where he served as the team’s television play-by-play announcer forseven seasons … prior to that, Swirsky called the action for the Raptors radio broadcasts for three

seasons … Swirsky is no stranger to the Midwest, his experience over the years has included stints calling games for theUniversity of Michigan and DePaul University … he also served as sports director for WJR-AM in Detroit where he anchored thepre-game and post-game shows for the Detroit Red Wings and the University of Michigan football team … Swirsky rose toprominence while serving as the sports director for WGN-AM in Chicago from 1982-1994 … he was the host of the Chicago BearsRadio Network for 10 years and held similar responsibilities for the Chicago Cubs Radio Network for 12 seasons … while at WGNRadio, Swirsky also called the action for the Chicago Sting of the NASL and extended into television as the play-by-playannouncer for Northwestern football for three seasons … Swirsky was also the Bulls public address announcer from 1980-1983 …on Sept. 30, 1994 the Governor of Illinois proclaimed Chuck Swirsky Day for the state … Swirsky’s experience also took him toNew York City where he did morning-drive sports for WABC Radio and appeared Sundays on ESPN Radio talking about the NBA …in 1996, he was awarded Best Play-by-Play announcer by the AP and received the Best Sportscaster Award for the state ofMichigan for three consecutive years from 1995-97.

Bill Wennington Radio Analyst

Bill Wennington enters his eighth season as color commentator for all Chicago Bulls radio broad-casts ... Wennington is partnered with Chuck Swirsky to broadcast Bulls games on ESPN Radio 1000 …you can also see Bill representing the Bulls at various charity events throughout the Chicagolandarea … served as a mentor and Coordinator of the Bulls’ player relations program for three years(2001-2004) … was a sideline reporter for FOX Sports Net Chicago during the 2002-03 season ... a 13-year veteran of the NBA, he spent six seasons with the Bulls (1993-94 through 1998-99), includingthree World Championships … a native of Montreal, Canada, Bill was also a member of the 1984 and

1992 Canadian Olympic Teams … recently inducted into the Quebec Basketball Hall of Fame and the Canadian Basketball Hall ofFame … played his college basketball at St. John’s University and was inducted into the school’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002… Bill and his wife, Anne, reside in Lake Forest, Ill., and have one son, Robbie.

Omar Ramos begins his second season as play-by-play announcer for all Chicago Bulls Spanishbroadcasts on WRTO (1200 AM) alongside Ozzie Guillen, Jr… Ramos has served as the play-by-playannouncer for Spanish broadcasts for the Chicago White Sox for the past four seasons … he is cur-rently the afternoon drive host of one of Univision Radio’s top stations (106.7 La Kalle ) and weekendhost on (105.1 FM La Que Buena) … a native of California’s central valley, Ramos was born and raisedin Tulare, Calif (south of Fresno) … graduated with a communications degree from Modesto JuniorCollege and FSU.

Ozzie Guillen, Jr. Spanish Radio Analyst

In his second season, Ozzie Guillen, Jr., will announce all Chicago Bulls Spanish broadcasts on WRTO(1200 AM) alongside Omar Ramos … for the past four seasons, Guillen and Ramos have also been thevoices for all Chicago White Sox Spanish radio broadcasts … Guillen currently is the host of his ownshow, in both English and Spanish, on WSCR 670 AM on Sunday nights … he is the son of ChicagoWhite Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and is an alumnus of Columbia College in Chicago.

UNITED CENTER BUILDING INFORMATIONIn 1988, Jerry Reinsdorf, majority owner and Chairman of the Chicago Bulls, and the late, William Wirtz, owner of the ChicagoBlackhawks, formed a new partnership to create an arena that would take sports into the 21st century.

The United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, is the largest arena in the United States. Constructionbegan in April 1992, and the building officially opened its doors on Aug. 18, 1994.

Since its opening, the United Center has hosted over 200 events each year. Some of the events the United Center has been proudto host include: the 1996 Democratic National Convention, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Barbra Streisand,Bette Midler, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circuses, Disney On Ice, the Big Ten BasketballTournament, the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament and the NBA Finals.

The United Center has hosted over thirty-million guests since it opened in 1994. Since 2005, in accordance with the Chicago CleanIndoor Air Ordinance, the United Center is a smoke-free facility.
