Summary of findings
The diversion to alternative lower-order roads is already takingplace.
- Lane acquisition
- This results in a large unserved demand along JanuaryMasilela Drive and Lynnwood Road that cannot practicallybe accommodated on alternative routes.
- There is gross oversaturation at several key intersectionsalong diversion routes on alternative routes.
- Lane acquisition is not feasible and, therefore, is notrecommended.
- Lane addition is recommended.
- Minor road network upgrades are recommended.
