Participants will learn to manage their nerves, understand what makes an effective speaker and practice core public speaking skills in a supportive environment. Who is the Training For? Public Speaking and Presentation Skills is ideal for teachers wanting to improve their public speaking skills inside and outside of the classroom. The training is also suitable for teacher’s wanting improve the oral presentations of their students. The course is accredited for all teaching levels and Principals, and contributes to AITSL standards 2.1, 6.3, 6.4, 7.3 and 7.4. About Your Trainer Scott Monson is an experienced speech coach and public speaking mentor, and has delivered public speaking training for a range of clients including Canberra BusinessPoint and through Youth Leadership Programs for Toastmasters International. Scott is also a respected public speaker and training facilitator. He has competed in a number of public speaking competitions, and placed 2nd in the ACT Final for the Toastmasters International Speech Competition. Scott is also the Australian Regional Director for the McGuire Programme, providing fluency, eloquence and confidence training to people who stutter.
